Encinitas offers a variety of shopping opportunities. Downtown, you will find shops restaurants and even a street bazaar each weekend. The variety of shops include ladies fashions (especially young ladies), designer clothing, surf shops, T-shirt shops, and Music stores that focus on the latest and coolest trends in the music scene. There are even a number of designer resale clothing shops.

Just over the hill from downtown, you will find a brand new outdoor mall/strip center, The Encinitas Town Center that is anchored by stores like Target, Barnes & Noble, Sports Authority, Stater Brothers Grocers, Linens n Things, A Padres Store (Padres are San Diego professional baseball franchise).
